Valley of Flowers is one of the most popular and loved National Park in India. Spreading at it’s full length throughout the mountain trails. Filled with divinity and sanctity at every stop as you walk further. The Valley of Flowers will be pulling you more and more towards itself in no time. It is said the freshness in the air. The blooming flowers that spread its nectar mixed scent all over the place. Brings in a lot of trekkers, hikers and other tourists at the Valley of Flowers.

The Valley of Flowers is located at Chamoli district in Uttarakhand. It is considered to be a famous source of consuming the purified air with the sounds of the chirping birds. The Flowers of Valley is situated near the holy Badrinath Dham of Uttarakhand. The Valley of Flowers is located 3658 metres above sea level and is a most populated hub for many tourists all over the year though the region closes down after October and the time for visit is from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The enchanting and the sanctity of the Valley of Flowers can be felt by one on their visit. The Valley of Flowers is also known for being the favourable places of many scholars and philosophers who had written about this place in their works. 


Apart from being a moderate trek or visiting a place; it is not completely easy-going  so make sure you are fit enough and healthy to trek or hike or walk to the higher altitudes. Do make sure you are carrying the necessary items for your journey at the Valley of Flowers. You must take with you the medical kit as prescribed to you so that you do not face health issues on your journey.

Nanda Devi National Park 

You will be mesmerized by the enchanting dense forests and a trip through it with a scenic view that is offered by the Nanda Devi Peak. It is a UNESCO claimed World Heritage Site with a large number of flora and fauna growing on the mountain regions. The beauty of the place that erupts will give you a chance to be at.

Hemkund Sahib 

The Hemkund Sahib is also known as the Gurudwara Sri Hemkund Sahib and is surrounded by the Himalayan mountains that are covered in snow. The natural freedom of the surroundings of Gurudwara and the beautiful scenery around you will be a mesmerizing one for you. You can feel the inner sacredness as you step in the beautiful and peaceful Gurudwara. 

Bhim Pul and the Saraswati River

The Bhim Pul is famous for being the most important thing to be at as the stone bridge located in the Mana Village near the Saraswati River is a sight to behold. This stone bridge offers a passage over the Vasudhara Falls. On the other hand, The holy Alokananda river meets the ancient Saraswati in the same branches The Saraswati River flows at Uttarakhand which again merges with the Alokananda river located at Keshav Prayag.

Hemkund Lake 

The mesmerizing sight of Hemkund Lake also known as the Lake of Snow releases a holy aura. This Hemkund Lake offers a panoramic view to the visitors visiting the Valley of Flowers. People offer their prayers at Hemkund Lake as well on their journey.


You will be fascinated by the locals of the Ghangaria Village that offers a panoramic sightseeing. This village will fall on your way towards the Hemkund Sahib Gurudwara. It is not only a hub for the Sikh pilgrims but also popular and most visited by others as well. The diversity of this region will be bewitching you in no time. There is a national park located near the Ghangaria village.


The heavenly bliss and the blooming flowers are a sight to bring in a large number of tourists every year. But amongst the other flowers the rare and exotic and beautiful Brahma kamal flower grows with all its full glory at the Valley of Flowers.

You will be sensing  the presence of the heavens to be present on earth. While you can breathe and dive in the freshness of the Valley of Flowers.
